That small camera tilt, so that Mrs Lovett is looking down at Mr. Todd makes her look extremely superior. She's planned this; sure, Mr. Todd does the dirty work, but Mrs. Lovett pushes him to do it. She is the mastermind behind all this... And the ending is the perfect way to see it backfire *snortpunBWAH* She's the Lady Macbeth to Sweeney's Macbeth :3 Its delicious..... like a meat pie... -------------------
I found 4 'tableaux' in Sweeney Todd (basically a pose that describes everything in a certain scene), this is the first one.
Now if I want to do the other 3, I don't know.. This drawing happened when I was in a play, and we were waiting at intermission (to scurry away and hide from the audience that were coming out)... I was trying out different perspectives, and this one jumped out so I drew it.. It took me FOREVER to colour !! XD I picked away at it every now and then, and its preeeeetty big x___x
lawl.. you have this as your display pic on msn.... x3 *flail*

jfkldsjfkldsjls. i can't click your links. they've frozen my comp twice already that first one does at least. it wont go to the right image either. it looks like its trying to load a no-hotlinking image but it just freezes.
Thanks! It was hard because I was never completely satisfied with it... I strained my back so many times in front of the mirror trying to see if that angle is right, etcetc. So I finally said "screw this, I will be forever picking away at it and never be completely happy with it, so lets just finish it"
Practice makes perfect I guess ;D

A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
In this article you will find many thumbnails of the sun in different forms, all photography featured here by the club feature-me. Please show your support for these artists and their work and the article so that more people can see their work.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
